Leva Leur #ShellOutJB (HALAL) Review

Another late post with a food review for one of my trips to JB quite a while back! Discovered this place on instagram and shared with the friends and we decided to go visit it !

This place is pretty far away from checkpoint and our car ride was quite long (around 20 - 30 mins) and although it is real far from the checkpoint it is just right above the punggol area so I actually managed to get SG's telco line ;;

The place is designed with chalkboard walls and the space is rather large and all

Menu below where you pick the seafood of choice and the sauce you would like it in. We left the decision of portion and weights to be decided by the waitress. Best would be to have a malay speaking friend with you as the waitress who served us is not exactly that proficient in english and thank god we had syi.

Quite an extensive range of drinks but we only ordered the more usual drinks like can drinks and some teas

Before the food came, they laid out this white plastic sheet over the table where we would just eat the food off the table similar to other restaurants.

Caution though, the oil in the food they poured was so much that it was flowing down to the sides and almost dripping off the table and maybe on us as well that we had to use tissues to wipe it away.

We got clams and squid in sambal sauce, prawns in lemak and crabs in black pepper.

All super yummy !!!

Got to be prepared to eat with your hands which is smtg chinese people are not used to hahaha. But this meal was really great !!!

I think the total bill came to about RM$200 which was sightly above our budget set but it was so satisfying and you will never be able to get this price in SG !
