Every year, my dad and uncles would head over to KL to catch the motor GP and I would also tag along !
Headed for the checkpoint around 6am and was considerably smooth flow and arrived at our breakfast place! Usually head here for breakfast when we are very early, if not we would actually go have some fishball noodles which are really good !!
This place sells kway teow kia and has renovated since the previous time I came.

I usually dont really eat much here: 1. I dont really like the soup the noodles are in, 2. I dont have breakfast most of the time as it will give me a stomach ache
I just ate the pork slices which are kinda dry but really good in that soya sauce.
It was a public holiday so most shops were closed for the day.

Headed over to my fav spot for char siew. We used to always go to overseas restoran for it but this place has similar char siew at a much cheaper price !! The char siew is really fat and well charred and has that super nice glaze !!! Super YUMS

Shared a room with my parents and this room was fairly large and very different from the previous time I stayed here as well. They had a renovation of the place so everything is really new and nicely furbished. I remembered the previous time I had stayed here, everything was really worn out and old and really dingy. Remembered that the chair cushions had like stains and all - really gross ;; but the one that I stayed this time round is really nice and clean!

After settling down, me and my dad headed to Times square which is just beside the hotel to walk around. Because my dad likes belgium waffles, we decided to visit this store at the basement.

Decided to take the train one stop down to Bukit Bintang station as it was raining and I wanted to go over Pavilion to maybe see if I can get anything from spao !
Quite a redundant train ride really as the waiting time was so long.
WEW EXO and there was some promo going on with the parkson card so there were loads of people and queues were really long too!! Didn't really see much things I wanted so I had to leave empty handed.
Had our dinner at the Chinatown of KL - Petaling Street where they have loads of fake designer goods for sale and very similar to HK's Ladies market imo !!

Didnt manage to take any photos of the food as every dish was wiped out the moment in landed on the table but they sell really good Black hokkien mee !! And according to my dad, this stall uses charcoal for their fire which makes it that much authentic and good!! Loads of lard in this hokkien mee which the elders love
The second day was the motor GP day which meant my date with my mom ! Told her about me spotting ippudo at pavilion so we decided to head there for lunch since we both woke up quite late

Headed for shopping and decided to take a rest and have dessert at the store below. As we had passed by and there were loads of people.
Turns out the one my mom ordered for me isn't exactly mango ice. It had mango jade as the name if I am not wrong and it was on all levels of bad. Super sour and the weird jelly/pudding thing was tasteless and the ice cream on top was so bad. (Maybe it is just me but I totally did not finish it :))
Bought a few clothing for myself and scored on a jacket from WHOAU which is this brand under the ELAND Group (the group who owns spao) as my mom signed up for the free membership for Parkson and there was the promo going on where the jackets (that look like those A&F kind) were going at RM50
Realised there was this link way to KLCC and decided to head there and take the train back instead of walking back from pavilion to our hotel but oh my that was such a bad decision.
Why did I not listen to my mom and believed her when she said it is very far.
Walked like a gazillion km on this walkway which is air conditioned and links all the way to KLCC.
Finally reached KLCC and my legs were already dead.
Finally caught a glimpse of the twin tower up close!!! Have been to KL so many times and I think I have yet to visit the landmark of KL
AND great job me. the decision to walk to KLCC was so we could take the train back to the hotel but we had to change trains to get back and we still had to walk quite a long distance just to get to the other stop ;;_;;
Headed back to the hotel and the dad was back with pretzels and I had one huehue. The large salt crystals on it was so yum :)
For dinner we had mookata at times square which can never compare to SG's one really. The mookata opposite my house is 100x better. This place had shitty sauces when the meat doesnt taste as nice. If there was a good sauce, it could have compensated for the shitty meat

Last day and left the hotel for melecca where we went to have the food I dislike the most :) Chicken rice balls. The rice rolled in balls is just not gooooood c'mon rice is not supposed to taste mushy and sHIT
Not gonna say where this is but it is kinda popular i GUESS. FC3 Chicken rice is like 100x better tbh. This rice tastes shit and chicken isnt that flavourful which makes me end up eating bean sprouts and rice drenched in chilli sauce to make up for it.
sOBS we didn't manage to go have san low as we went for this shitty place above :/ my fav bee hoon ;;;_;;; but okay thats it for this post ! Next KL trip would most prob be the trip for EXORDIUM since KL has been confirmed !!! thank god for msia stop bc I dont think SG is included after shitty organisers for exoluxion !
