super obsessed w the saturdays' not giving up and since today is a saturday so why not this title hahaha

had woken up pretty early considering the time I slept to head out and collect my first sensibility album I had ordered from fast tracks ; was actually intending to not purchase it anymore after I had tried depositing money into their acc and it had already reached the limit so I knew that it was a sign I should not buy it. But fast tracks had then sent an email asking if I made payment so oh wells, did interbank transfer.

the collection was at city square and i decided to go and try paddington house of pancakes since I had kept on seeing it on insta and it looks good. went out w han and we took the bus there and were lost for moments until I saw a girl w a poster so I knew she had just gone from city square and we went that direction hahaha.

I kinda already knew I won't get the pass since I barely have any fan luck for b.a.p ; I think I have pretty good fanluck for other groups but just not b.a.p and idek why

Got a daehyun photocard eventho I very much wanted youngjae; and I had thought it would be fast tracks giving the letter and all as stated in their faq but it was a lucky dip ; so more albums more chances ! which was totally not what they said on their fb orz but it's too late anyways.

Headed to Paddington House Of Pancakes and ordered a dessert one as well as this fries and wedges thingy ; the fries and wedges was super filing i swear. Only ate like half since I shared it w han but I think I could barely eat my pancakes.

was pretty nice w the nacho cheese and all but the square thing on top is weird...

I ordered like a short stack ??? w bananas and idk what;s the chocolate thing but I swear the pancakes taste a little undercooked idk. Tastes super starchy and all ; totally prefer strictly pancakes anytime. Even han agreed.

It was pretty erm simple for $10 pancakes really. I think the chocolate thing at the side is like chocolate butter ??? idk

I don't think I'll go and eat there again anytime soon cause it is kinda overpriced for super mini portions and weird tasting pancakes 

Headed to a family bbq after that w my dad's family side and didn't really eat much since I shoved myself w pancakes and the bbq started at like 4 ??? came home and tried updating the blogshop as much as I can while finishing chi tys, alternating orz

super happy that I managed to finish 4 comprehensions today !! great achievement :)

hoping to bake tomorrow and to finish up other homeworks as well as the blogshop ;-; cause I doubt I have much time after school starts

haji lane adventures (◡‿◡✿)

basically I had gone out yesterday , 20/03/14 to mainly bishan and haji ! Went to catch hot young bloods at bishan's GV with clara, shing and bel ; it was a kinda funny show but alot of violence and major korean swearing like f*** in korean which I had actually learnt through twitter and was hearing it throughout the entire movie ; since they were all like gangster types and stuff ! Park Boyoung is really pretty ! super loads of curses eventhough the subs weren't exactly accurate on the curses oh wells ; they cant possible be putting a whole load of f*** in the subs hahaha. The theatre was actually pretty empty like I think there was only 8 people watching ??? including us .

and we wanted to eat noodles so much after watching the movie because they were constantly going to the chinese restaurant and having jajjangmyun :P so we had some at like the food court ; i got a black pepper chicken pasta i think

We then headed to Haji to do our touch up on field work cause we forgot to count the amt of footsteps for every shop so we kinda needed to go back and count and at the same time we could shop and visit some of the cafe's there ! we wanted to go to the shop wonderland cafe at first but it was kinda full especially since it was drizzling (whenever me and shing goes out, it never fails to rain )

we went to another cafe and since it was pretty small, it is a little awkward if we were like "I don't really like anything here, so we are gonna leave" because the cake choices were too little and I couldn't really get a cup of coffee since period pains and oh wells, since wenyi's birthday was the next day, we decided to go w whatever she wanted and treat it like her birthday cake ; we ordered a slice of banana chocolate mousse . I guess it tasted pretty okay but the cake was a little dry but the mousse part was good !!

we then headed back to shop wonderland in the end because the presentation of food was really pretty !! and the atmosphere of the place was like a cottage and very cozy ! I was contemplating between a white chocolate lava cake or a salted caramel banana muffin ; but I got the muffin in the end cause I didn't really want to have a chocolate overload which would make me feel super heaty.

( selcas while waiting hehe ) I thought the food was pretty reasonably priced ! the muffin was so so delicious with really good salted caramel and was only $4.90 and the cakes were a gigantic slice and around $7 ??? will wanna go back again and try the white chocolate lava cake as well as the diner at the start of haji lane ! The burgers look really yummy !

cheesecake nutella brownies

so.... I had made oreo truffles w 4oz of cream cheese and wanted to do smth w the other half, therefore i had decided to make cheesecake brownies !

however, there was no brownie mix in the supermart so i thought of looking for a nutella brownie recipe since I had a jar of unused nutella ;-)

and they turned out fine and its super simple !!!

had taken the nutella brownie recipe from a cup of jo

and the cheesecake mixture from what I had initially wanted to do from betty crockers

all you need is basically
Nutella brownie
1 cup of nutella
1 cup of flour
2 eggs
Cheesecake swirl
4 oz (half a packet) cream cheese
3 tablespoons sugar
1 egg

Steps
1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees celcius.
2. Mix together Nutella and Eggs.
3. Sift in flour and mix well
4. Spoon into pan
5. In another bowl, cream the cream cheese, sugar and egg.
6. Mix well and add 2 teaspoons to each brownie.
7. Use a toothpick and swirl cheesecake batter and brownie together, making a marbled surface.
8. Bake for 12 minutes

* I had made an error of not reading the recipe a second time and thought the brownies were uncooked and let it bake for ard 20 mins and it became dry ! a wet batter at 12 minutes means you will get a fudgy brownie!!

YAY finally did up the blog nicely with a side bar wuhu

Common Tests are officially over since Friday but I just was too tired to post up something during the weekends and monday ;-; finally doing this on a tuesday night where I have no hw and just lazily browsing taobao ;;; do I have to talk about my obsession with that super awesome china site ???

well got back a few results and I have to say I did pretty badly ??? I didn't even pass math but it wasn't that surprising to me since I didn't do so many qn ; scored a C for chinese and it's one of my worst grades I ever got ; thought I would do pretty okay for bio but I guess not; got a 30/50 and I doubt my chem is any better actually worse I must say.

But I was glad that I had gone on a small retail therapy on Saturday and good food on Sunday !!

Went out with Cherie on Saturday to Orchard and was planning on getting a nu bra but they didn't have it in my size sobs ;

after watching loads of yt videos on lush products the day before, we became kinda obsessed with lush gahhhh so of course we went to lush !! I had gone in twice but never ever lasted there for more than 5 mins orz the smell is just too strong I couldnt stand it

But I was intent on getting this solid shampoo for my horrible dandruff problems hoping it could help ?? (I havent tried it yet but soon ....) I read all the reviews and it seems pretty good especially since lush is so natural ; but the smell was kinda the problem.

It really does smell like burning wood and the smell is super strong. even just holding it through the paper packaging, my hand totally reeks of it and leaving the paper bag open in my room totally killed my room's scent

Just couldn't resist getting a 'snow fairy' shower gel although it is purely impulse. I swear I was regretting it the moment I stepped out of lush cause I originally wanted to get american dream or smth conditioner which I hear overpowers the smell of the 'soak and float' but didn't cause I still had a whole load of conditioner at home.

But I had only just started on my bath and body works shower gel which is so perfum--eeyyy ???

Had returned home because I was gonna head out again to meet my english project group hahaha ; had a fun time with them although zeona's dog totally scare the shit out of me ;-;

returning home, the dining table was placed with a container of butter crab and bee hoon from m'sia since my dad went there

went with the cousins to strangers reunion on sunday to celebrate min, han and gran's birthdays :)))) we had truffle fries and of course the buttermilk waffles

me and cherie decided to try the one with yoghurt since I saw so many good reviews on it ;-;

I totally regret it. i kinda dislike plain yoghurt but I heard so much good abt it, I thought it would be good

It is super filling and tastes weird orz

and we went to united sq to get presents !! I want a tiger soft toy TuT ; tiger is like my ultimate fav disney character . Was in love with it since young as it was so cuteeeee and since Im born in the year of the tiger too mehhh
