finally, I have come to the end of my south korea instalment ! It is already coming to the end of august and I am still talking about things that have happened in march;;
min was still feeling sick 'like mud' as she says, so she stayed home while me and cherie went out together.

headed for kamong which is a cafe opened up by exo's kai's sister ! (and he occasionally drops by for some drinks too)
it was a pretty long walk from the subway station but all you had to do was walk straight so there was no going wrong with it
funny story of how we could not figure where the entrance was as it is a small staircase up at the side and were not sure if it was opened
ordered two drinks and a waffle as brunch
so the waffles tasted funky
it had this really strong tea taste which I dislike because I hate tea so this was totally not my cup of tea ( get the pun ??? )
So in love with the cookies and cream frappe ;; it tastes so good and cold drinks are far better although it is cold as hell outside
Got a white choco mocha hot which wasnt really nice so as compared to the cookies and cream
The cups are super duper cute though ;;; so adorable. The name kamong technically came from Kai+Monggu which is Kai's poodle's name so the art on the cups surround that idea I guess
I wanted to bring the cups back and had gone over to the counter to ask for carriers while cherie had just told me to go ask for new cups and all but I didn;t want to so she told me to just take it when they werent looking but obviously I have no guts so we just left with half filled drinks in the cardboard carrier
oh ! and there if wifi at kamong if you are wondering ;-) though the password is at the lower seating area as I only found the password when we were leaving
minseok adverts again ~ and I still have not been to the main coex mall ;; ugh time management issues when it comes to smtown
finally managed to see how coex looks like on the other side because the tour bus for exoluxion drops us off at the main entrance ! They change the giant posters every single time based on whoever is promoting !

finally bought this towel which has sehun's details on it ; regret buying it only on my last day because I really needed a bigger towel since our airbnb home's towels were all super duper small and could barely dry my long hair so I was in very much need of a towel
come and take a look at these shure earpiece and the one not displayed at 630,000 won which is like $600
at coex you can just go around spotting random autographs signed everywhere
They even sell clothes for pets (real money makers) wonder if jongin got 1 for his dogs
There was this fortune cookie event where if you spend above 30,000 (i think) you get 1 cookie which fortune has like 10% off the cafe or exclusive photo cards
and we got the pathetic 10% which we didn't even care
The exo standees for exoluxion at the sm studio !!! only realised now that you can actually book a package to learn a dance or do your makeup or record a song or have a photo shoot here and it is actually at a fairly reasonable price (considering SM)
But do note , you will need to make a reservation as they do not do walk ins
polaroid-like photos lining the lift area which was very interesting to look at as some photos might not have been released
all the trophies SM artistes have received are also displayed nicely

Wanted to get a macaron but I assumed they weren't selling but cherie told me to go ask and was stupidly rejected cause they are not for sale. But if you were to go there now, they have macarons on sale ! With the logos of idols printed on even
So I had decided to buy the EXO Ice cream because it had the most neutral flavour and of course I would buy the EXO one although the oreo flavoured TVXQ one is tempting
Major turn off is the price - as you can see in the image above, 1 ice cream is like 6000won which is like SGD$8????
The ice cream came in a super aesthetic packaging though
The vanilla ice cream was superb but the chocolate was super bitter which I hate to the core. And the EXO words are just made with icing sugar so it was one super expensive ice cream, although in a korean post before, I remembered how netizens argued that this ice cream was retailing pretty expensive even without the stencilled words so
Grabbed the magazines from the other table to have some aesthetic shots while Cherie had gone to the toilet to dump my kamong drinks. Super funny but as cherie was in the toilet trying to dump our leftover drinks, and she had dumped it into the toilet bowl and the ice was making a whole load of sound which embarrassed the hell out of her (thanks cherie)
even the lights are designed with such precision ??? I don't even know what to say about SM anymore

Headed to chanyeol's umma's restaurant which is so out of the place ;; but super near the subway station
You will surely know you are at the right branch when you walk up the stairway and see if already fully decorated with chanyeol and millions of fan letters.
As we visited the store around 4-5pm there weren't many people so It was pretty empty to be honest
It felt super homey and just really cozy being surrounded by chanyeol things everywhere hehe although cherie was asking what would happen if they were to move
Where chanyeol sits when he visits the place ! Super cute eating area~ and not just chanyeol photos are plastered but his noona's photos are also on the wall ;; she is super pretty too
And that is chan's umma there (didn't realise I took a photo of her as I was trying to take the whole place)
She looks super young though and pretty , only a slight resemblance to yeol but she seemed very nice when she had served us :-)
Complimentary garlic bread and our ordered vongole, we were not really hungry as we were both also still feeling quite nauseous and I had this giant ulcer which totally killed my appetite. Honestly food prices here are quite high so I would suggest sharing and coming prepared with enough money. As the food that we had eaten over the past few days were all dirt cheap so this was very much pricey as compared to more local food

Finally gained the courage and YOLO to take a photo with the minseok birthday advert at myeongdong (there were so many people judging)
Had went back myeongdong as I saw some photos on twitter that spao has already changed their interior but was sad to find out that was at their other outlet ;;; totally wanted to at least see the new EXO interior
With a goal to conquer all the SM stores in Seoul, we headed to the Lotte Young Plaza for the final SM Store !
It is fairly far away from the train station so we walked really far
Had also really wanted to visit the LINE store as there was the gigantic bear you can take photo with and also the super cute merchandise but no time at all as min wanted us back by 7pm so we won't risk being late
And without any second thought, I bought the Sehun head pillow ;; had initially thought of buying it at coex but it was out of stock and when I saw that there was stock at lotte young plaza, I was willing to just buy it
Just nice I had enough cash to pay
But guess what, I have no money to go home
I only had 905won worth of coins and 1005 is required for a train fare. Bless my soul that cherie found a 100 won coin dropped by the lady before us on the floor (yeheT)
initial plan was to visit Namsan but due to time constraints and how min was sick, we didn't manage to visit it - but this is the view of it as we were walking to the airport bus stop
Just nice, my phone card had maxed out the data while we were on the bus so I started reading the magazines and tadah hong jonghyun from his photoshoot in Singapore
We actually took the bus to gimpo for a transit before heading onto the incheon bus and were stranded in this small little box station with a small heater while waiting
All the shops were closed so we just waited at this food shop and had some fast food
Surprised to board the plane and be greeted with front row seats ! My first time having a front row seat and the amount of leg space is just love
Perfect because I wasn't planning on watching anything as it was a red eye flight and all I wanted to do after 7 days of waking early is too sleep.
Fell asleep again while at HK airport which was so funny because min had told us to take care of her things as she goes to the washroom but both of us were so tired we dozed off
This ends my Korea journey ! Hope to visit this lovely place again soon :-)
