butter cake ヾ(*´∇`)ﾉ

was actually supposed to bake a banana cake but the bananas my grandma bought were a different kind and smelt different so I didn't dare make a cake with it.

so i decided to make a butter cake since she suggested and I came across this recipe >> Mdm Ng SK's Butter Cake which alot of sg bloggers had baked and said how successful and delicious it came out 

love how the cake is so fluffy and light ;;; had not eaten a butter cake since forever so I can't exactly compare orz

grub ꒰⑅•ᴗ•⑅꒱

met up with chloe and clara yesterday (18/05) for brunch !! me and chloe sort of agreed to go eat churros after prelims and since prelims sort of ended , we went to have some hahaha.

decided to go grub since churrosity is closed on sundays apparently ;;; oh wells . we met pretty early , like at 10.30am at nex then headed to amk to take a bus there since it was at bishan-amk park hahaha.

surprisingly there was no queue but I guess it was because we reached there pretty early and it was drizzling 

me and chloe decided to share burgers and churros while clara had a waffle and vanilla gelato.

portobello burger and pork steak burger 

did not really enjoy the pork steak burger because I thought it was pretty fatty and it was just too overwhelming but the meat was pretty soft !! the portobello burger was just so good ;; the mushroom was so yummy and the sauce was nice too ; will surely eat that the next time

finally had churros but I thought the churros didn't really have enough sugar and I didn't really like the sauces given so me and chloe had asked for more sugar hahhaa and it tasted really really much more better with that extra sugar !!

after that we then headed back to amk hub and walked around hahha we then went to the arcade to play abit omg such a fail hahaha 

and yay for my new $4 watch from taka hahaha super happy I got the pink one from the toy machine thing hehe

emergency couple fanmeet (*✧×✧*)

so many events had happened this past week and I just want to put all that aside and talk about how I managed to release all those stress by attending the emergency couple fanmeet !!!

not going to make any more further comments regarding kris and all because currently everything is so messed up.

oh wells ; the emergency couple fanmeet was on friday (16/05). It was super last minute cause I only got told that Natasha had free tickets on the day itself. Was really happy to be able to spend time with elle and release all that stress esp since it was the day after the entire kris fiasco and friday was technically what I term as my last paper for prelims wuhu.

the fanmeet was held at kallang theatre which I actually didn't know was the building beside kallang leisure mall hahaha even tho I have been to stadium so many times.orz

got complimentary tickets from esther's mom hehehe

my fingers are in such an awkward position OTL

our tickets weren't really good but at least we managed to be able to go !!

went to have 'dinner' but it was actually basically eating desserts then we just headed back to the theatre.

jihyo is super cute and funny; super warm towards all her fans and of course her sense of humor was just so perfect/ thought her outfit was really pretty.

eventho choi jinhyuk is handsome but just not my type of guy I would like and I have yet to watch emergency couple !!! hahaha was planning to watch it after prelims ; the show seems really really good by the small clips they played during the fanmeet and I will be looking forward to watch it hehehe.

had really such a great time with elle !! been so long since we have hanged out and even eating silently is such a comfortable silence ^^ hehehe

fluffy banana cake recipe (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧

yay baked this banana cake recipe for the 2nd time and it was really yummy again kekeke although I should be studying but I just am so distracted ;;; hopefully this will be my last post this week or smth

was looking for a more fluffy banana cake so I found this recipe from littleteochew

Recipe
- 180g unsalted butter
- 180g castor sugar
- 2 extra large eggs, lightly beaten 
- 250g cake flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking Soda
- 220g bananas, mashed 
- 50 g evaporated milk

1. Cream butter and sugar till light and creamy.
2. Pour in eggs gradually and beat till creamy.
3. Add in evaporated milk, mashed bananas and mix well.
4. Add in cake flour, baking powder and baking soda, and beat for a short while, just to make sure everything is incorporated.
5. Pour into an 8-inch round tray.
6. Bake at 175 degree celcius for about 50 to 60 mins, or until cooked.

omnoms ٩꒰｡•‿•｡꒱۶

havent blogged for a while and I finally have stuff to blog about which is why I am doing this up ;; although like it's prelims next week I still have no mood to study and just packing and filing all my notes and ws together is already driving me crazy since I throw all my stuff everywhere.

it was labour day yesterday, and because I have tuition, my parents told me to go w them to star vista while my mom has an appt because the timings were really close;; bubu tagged along although my mom disagreed hahaha so my dad abandoned me and bubu to walk ard at star vista so we just went to the k-mart and got some snacks and pororo yakult and sat at the grandstands

when my dad finally came, we decided on going to this cafe(?) orz ; I ordered a wagyu beef sandwich thing + the set meal of iced latte and a chicken soup or smth ; the sandwich was so so good ;; although I shared w my mom cause I knew I could not finish it since I had just tightened my braces the prev day. The latte was also super nice

Had a study skills workshop today and they said that eating junk food will prevent depression and anxiety !! which is good and another excuse to eat hahaha'

I have been constantly mentioning to chloe I want to eat waffles w ice cream but we never ever went to the cafe at kovan!!! so today we finally decided to go w sarah seah and isabel

It is the hatter street cafe ;; it has many great reviews for its waffles so why not !!

the place is kinda small and packed but we still managed to get a seat and we ordered a waffle w vanilla ice cream + salted caramel sauce ; although it is kinda known for the pandan one hahaha

Walked over to heartland mall after calling my dad and he says he will pick me up in 30 mins since he is still at novena waiting at the hospital w bubu for the specialist so I went to get new pens and walk around aimlessly. and then he tells me to go orchard... and I almost died carrying so much stuff cause I brought back most of my books to study for prelims next week ;-;

bought a few donuts from krispy kreme before heading over to isetan scotts to meet 'em and still have to wait for the doc to come zzzzzzz I almost immediately fell asleep in the car too tired and i'm totally tired now; time to sleep and study tmr TTTTTTTT

hope this last minute studying pays off //sobs//
